Melissa is a comedian, musical theater actor, film/tv actress, rapper and Bi-coastal animal. 

 

Born and raised in LA she moved to NYC at 17. She has trained at NYU Tisch (Cap21|Stonestreet Studios), The Neighborhood Playhouse and Upright Citizens Brigade.

 

She’s performed at a whole host of venues on both the East and West coasts, chiefly among them: Jazz at Lincoln Center, Norris Theatre, the Saban Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, HERE! Arts Center, and Carnegie Hall.

Most recently she starred in a short film titled 'Ecstasy and Agony', which shot in New York City. She also produced and starred in a pilot presentation called 'Undergrads'. 

You can see Melissa performing as Hope Cladwell in 'Urinetown' with Courage Theatre at the Lankershim Arts Center on February 24th. 

Lastly, she’s the whitest rapper out there. Along with writer and comedian Ali Eagle, they make "The LitterBoxGang”. Their music videos can be found on youtube and www.thelitterboxgang.com
